  1. Complete and submit the admission application.
  2. Pay the admission fee of MXN $1,800 (non-refundable).
  3. Upload your high school certificate or transcript.
  4. Upload an official college transcript (if applicable). Copies will not be accepted.
  5. Register for the English exam or present equivalent certifications.

Minimum GPA Requirements: To apply, we require a promedio of 7.7+ or a GPA of 2.75+.

Required Information for Mexican Residents:

  • Accredited high school certificate.

  • English language proficiency certification

  • Enrollment receipt (MXN $1,800) 

  • Medical insurance

Honors Scholarship: For students with outstanding academic performance, regardless of their financial situation. The required GPA is 3.5, equivalent to 9.5 on the Mexican scale.

Academic Scholarship: For students with high academic achievement who need financial support. The required GPA is 3.2, equivalent to 8.5 on the Mexican scale.

Athletic Scholarship: For students excelling in any sport or athletic activity who can join the university teams: american football, rugby, soccer, cheer and dance, basketball, or flag football. The required GPA is 2.8, equivalent to 8.0 on the Mexican scale.

Partnership Scholarship: For students graduating from a partner high school. The required GPA is3.2, equivalent to 9.0 on the Mexican scale.

One-Year Discount: A special program for students awarded a one-year discount (2 semesters+ summer). It is not renewable. The required GPA is 2.75, equivalent to 7.0 on the Mexican scale.

Family Loyalty: For students with a sibling studying at Texas State University Queretaro — as long as both siblings are enrolled. The required GPA is 2.75, equivalent to 7.0 on the Mexican scale.

Referral Program: Students and parents who refer family or friends will receive 5% financial support if the referral enrolls at Texas State University Queretaro.
